Mr. You Mimura

Testimonials

Hey there, I’m You Mimura, currently living in San Diego. I work as a chef at a Japanese restaurant and am also training as a baker in a cafeteria. I’d like to share my experience with the INC coaching sessions.

My Past

Before I met my coach, I was pretty lost in life. Twenty-four years ago, I moved to San Diego with my parents and younger sister from Japan. My English wasn’t great, so I had to figure things out on my own. I was so focused on not failing that I didn’t even think about what I actually wanted to do.

I didn’t have clear goals, so I ended up messing up college and spent some years managing a small movie theater, just drifting along.

Eventually, I thought,

“I want to do something that’s really important to people’s lives, like food,”

and decided to switch careers to cooking.

Meeting Dr. Yoshi

My first encounter with Dr. Yoshi wasn’t some life-changing event. My mom, who knew his wife, heard that he was a coach and introduced us. Later, I found out that Dr. Yoshi actually wanted to talk to me and suggested the INC coaching sessions.

At that time, I already knew a bit about coaching, but honestly, I wasn’t all that open to it. I couldn’t really believe that coaching could change my life, and I didn’t think I could become any better.

I thought I was just an immature, irresponsible person who had made choices for college and work based on what others, like my parents, told me.

My Personal Transformation

To my surprise, I decided to go ahead with the coaching sessions with Dr. Yoshi.

One reason was that it didn’t cost a fortune, but another reason was that I couldn’t see a way out of the negative spiral I was stuck in. Dr. Yoshi promised to give me all the tools and knowledge I needed to change how I live my life.

Experience with the Sessions

Once the sessions started, I quickly realized this wasn’t just some motivational speech. Dr. Yoshi taught me a lot about how we view the world and how we can take charge of our lives to make improvements.

Over time, I came to understand that I wasn’t the irresponsible, immature person I had always believed myself to be.

In fact, I’d done more than most people.

I didn’t just follow what my parents or others said; I was the one who ultimately made the decisions.

Taking responsibility for my life was actually one of the biggest accomplishments I could have made.

To the outside world, it might seem like nothing much has changed in my life, and in a way, that’s true. But after working with Dr. Yoshi, the real change was in how I saw the world and what I wanted to do with it.

I learned that if I wanted to change something in my life,

it needed to start with changing myself.

And that change doesn’t have to be huge—sometimes it’s just the little things that add up over time.

But those small, consistent changes can transform your life. It’s not about having big, dramatic moments like soaring high in the sky or making a grand statement. It’s more like a dandelion pushing through layers of concrete, breaking through with tiny roots.

What I Want to Share with You

If you’re feeling stuck or unable to shake off that feeling of despair, I highly recommend talking to Dr. Yoshi.

He won’t solve your problems for you, but he will help you find the best tools to handle them.

He’ll also help you discover your real values, and you’ll realize that your life is in your hands.

Dr. Yoshi will inspire you to take control of your life and become its true master.
