My Experience with Dr. Yoshi’s 5Day Program

Taking Dr. Yoshi’s 5Day course has been life-changing for me. It helped me discover the true meaning of gratitude and transformed how I see and care for myself.

Before this program, I had been struggling with panic attacks for over 10 years. Relationships were a challenge, and I didn’t fully understand my own worth. I carried limiting beliefs that made life harder than it needed to be, like:

  • Sacrificing myself for others is virtuous.
  • Enduring discomfort for someone else’s happiness is the right thing to do.
  • Achieving anything meaningful requires a heavy cost.
  • Happiness always comes with an eventual downside.

These beliefs created a deep fear of rewards or success. Whenever something good happened, I would feel anxious, anticipating that something bad would follow, or that someone else would pay the price for my gain.

For the longest time, I thought these beliefs were necessary for survival. They did bring some positive outcomes, so I never questioned them. But they also pushed me to ignore my own needs, leaving me physically and emotionally drained. Over time, my body started reacting—panic attacks, chronic fatigue, constant anxiety, and a sense of never being at ease.

After completing the 5Day program, three major changes stand out for me:

  1. I gained a deeper understanding of my body and its signals.
  2. I learned how to process so-called “negative” emotions in a healthier way.
  3. I rebuilt my motivations and behavioral patterns.

1. Understanding and Listening to My Body

I realized that my body has always been working hard to protect me. Whenever I pushed myself too far or ignored my limits, it would react—through discomfort, pain, or even accidents—forcing me to slow down and take notice.

Now, when I experience any kind of discomfort, I ask myself:

  • What is my body trying to tell me?
  • Am I truly taking care of myself right now?

This shift has allowed me to treat myself with more care and respect. Moving forward, I’ve decided to prioritize what brings joy to my senses and to treat my body with the kindness it deserves, even if it takes a bit more effort.

2. Redefining “Negative” Emotions

Before the course, I saw emotions like anger, anxiety, or sadness as obstacles—something to avoid or suppress. I’ve come to understand that these emotions serve a purpose. They highlight what matters to us and can even guide us.

For example:

  • Anger can indicate something we care about deeply.
  • Anxiety shows how much we value a situation or outcome.

Seeing emotions this way has completely changed how I handle them. Instead of being controlled by them or letting them affect my physical health, I now approach them with curiosity and understanding. This has helped me reframe past experiences and handle day-to-day challenges with a much steadier mindset.

3. Rebuilding Motivations and Behaviors

In the past, I often acted based on avoiding worst-case scenarios. I would imagine everything that could go wrong and focus my energy on preventing those outcomes. While this approach sometimes worked, it was exhausting and rarely left me feeling motivated or excited.

Through the program, I learned to shift my focus from avoiding negatives to pursuing positives. By visualizing success and working toward meaningful goals, I’ve found myself acting with more energy and purpose. This change in mindset has had a ripple effect on my behaviors, and I no longer feel paralyzed by fear or anxiety.

These three changes have made an enormous difference in my life. They’ve allowed me to calmly assess situations, make positive choices, and prevent the panic patterns that once controlled me.

I’m overjoyed to say that panic attacks are no longer a part of my life.

This freedom has brought me a sense of peace and the ability to genuinely enjoy my days again. For that, I’ll always be grateful.

Thank you, Dr. Yoshi!
